The Source

From the net to the tin

Where our products and programs improve outcomes

Our work

Watched at Sea

Monitoring on every trip

We put cameras and sensors on every vessel and have the footage reviewed independently, so what gets reported is what actually happened. That matters for the fishery, because you can’t manage what you don’t measure. And it matters commercially, because a retailer making a sourcing claim needs something behind it that holds up.

Landed in the Pacific

Counted where it comes ashore

The fish is then offloaded dockside in the Pacific rather than transshipped at sea. Rather than fish moving from vessel to vessel at sea–with lots of risk that what folks say happened on the water, actually did. Our catch gets landed in the Pacific Islands and counted where it lands, and the value stays with the communities that own the resource. One decision, two results: a fishery that can be managed, and a claim that can be defended.
